Isda.mobi: a mobile phone interface for small-scale fisheries to access fisheries-related information

  • Develops a FishBase interface for the mobile phone primarily to facilitate communication among small-scale fishers, scientists and fisheries managers in monitoring species occurrences through pictures and log entries to FishBase, in efforts to manage fisheries resources in a sustainable and conservative manner.
